Junior Faculty Grants

The North Carolina Neurological Society (NCNS) Research Grant was established to support practicing neurologists and neurologic researchers in the state of North Carolina in their efforts to improve neurologic outcomes for residents of North Carolina and to advance the neurological community at large. This funding opportunity is intended to foster impactful projects that enhance patient care, access, and understanding across the field of neuroscience.

The duration of this grant is for 2 years at $10,000 annually, paid to your supervising institution. Grants will not be given to the same institution in consecutive years. The subject of the grant should be of service to neuroscience patients and can include basic science, clinical science, clinical care, access to care or quality of care. Grant applications are due by December 1, 2025.
