Call for Posters: Resident, Fellow, and Student Submissions
The NC Neurological Society invites residents, fellows and medical students to submit posters detailing original research (clinical and/or laboratory research, delineating a new investigation into mechanisms of a disease, or a detailed review of a clinical problem), or clinical vignettes (one or more cases that illustrate a new disease entity or prominent or unusual clinical feature of an established disease). Accepted posters will be judged by a panel of neurologists on Saturday, March 6 at the NCNS Annual Meeting, and the winning posters will be given cash prizes.
Poster abstracts should be submitted by December 1, 2026. We will accept as many posters as space permits. Complete the application today!
Please note the following instructions for posters:
- Abstract Eligibility: Original abstracts that either have or have not been presented at other meetings will be considered. They are eligible if they have been published; however, abstracts based upon full papers that have been published are not eligible.
• Abstract Format: Title should be brief and clearly state content of paper. List name and degree for each author. Organize body of abstract as follows: (a) Purpose for study, (b) Simple statement of methods, (c) Summary of results, (d) Statement of conclusions. - Poster Instructions: Posters should be no larger than 3.5’ by 3.5’ in size.
Those who submit poster abstracts will be notified by January 29 so that they will have time to prepare their poster. For those posters selected, the NC Neurological Society will cover one night’s lodging, for one presenter per poster, for those who live beyond a 60-mile radius.
We hope you will plan to attend the meeting regardless of your participation as a poster presenter. As always, meeting registration is free for residents, fellows and students.
